Worldwide, NBA players are more famous than NFL players and it's not close at all. Even in America, individually NBA players are more popular than NFL players. Everybody would recognize LeBron or Kobe walking down the street. There's a lot of people who wouldn't recognize NFL players.

It mainly has to do with the fact that NFL players wear helmets and you rarely see their faces when they play.

I never ever said that the NBA is more popular, i said the NBA is popular, they do have good ratings and the players are even more famous/popular then the NFL players.
