I don't know why, but I'm just not sold on Jones. I don't think he's ever faced any top WRs.

He lead a good football team in tackles as a corner, too. Not one dimensional.

Like who? Jerry Rice? Marvin Harrison?
How many of these top guys face top wideouts?

Even in a power conference... how often does a college corner play against an eventual good NFL wideout?

I think Pacman Jones is fine pick. He is short, but sturdy. I just think it would a waste of a really good kick returner... he won't be doing that in KC. ALl that being said, if I had to choose I would take Rogers.

I personally don't see what's wrong with Pacman Jones. He's 5'10 it's not like hes 5'6, the diference in his size and Antrel Rolles size is an inch an a half. Do you really think that slight diference is really going to decide who's the better football player? Not to mention Jones has better speed than Rolle does.
Remember something this is the team that has gotten itself in trouble by continuously drafting corners because they fit the "physical prototype". So dismissing someone because he's not 6' scares me after I've seen this team do that before and end up with some awful corners.

Me personally I'd like to see Davis be the pick. He brings the attitude that the defense needs. How long has it been since any player on this defense has lit anyone up? Thomas Davis would change that in a big way.

If Channing Crowder is sitting on the board in the 3rd round that better be the pick or I'll pull my hair out. With that kind of LB need you can't pass on a guy being there in a steal position like that would be.

I'd like to also say I've been reading this board for awhile and enjoyed it and finally decided to join the party so to speak.

Everybody but Pollack, Ware, Merriman, Johnson, Rolle, Rogers and Jones. Edwards, Williams, and Mark Clayton are the only receivers I would take. Also throw Alex Smith in that category. Those are only players I would choose in the first round.
