The AP reports Trent Green is "fine" after suffering a concussion Sunday.
Post-game X-rays showed up negative. Green's injury originally appeared to be much more severe, as he lay motionless for several minutes before being carted off on a stetcher. He's still uncertain to play in Week 2 at Denver, a shaky fantasy matchup anyways.

Unless he's 100% better in a couple days (which I doubt), we might as well just hold him out for Denver. It's not like we have much of a chance of winning there anyway, so I'd just get ready for a run after the bye. No need to risk getting him hurt even worse.

I agree with DaFace...but man, that is going to be one ugly game if Huard starts.

We might as well go into FULL Marty mode, run the ball 90% of the time, and PRAY our defense can make Jake the Fake look as bad as he did against St. Louis...

I don't want to see Huard throwing the ball more than 15 times.

I agree. Start Croyle and let him get some real game experience, for possible future situations like this. He's the future, let's start prepping him.

No thanks...

Huard was 'bad', but he still made some throws (12-20)...his career is already wasted, let's not throw Croyle into the fire at all this year...doesn't make sense.

It would certainly be difficult to watch. Not to mention that all the donkey fans will be over here rubbing it in our faces if we look like shit (which would be likely without Trent). It's still the right decision unless he's 100%.

On QB Trent Green’s condition: “Obviously a pretty severe head trauma, but he had all his senses and feeling in his arms and legs. Actually, when he did wake up he remembered every play except the one that knocked him out. He’s in the hospital right now, but the preliminary X-rays – and they did them of the neck and head – are all negative. So, we’re being very optimistic and hopeful.

“His family, including his wife Julie, is with him and we’re going to be cautiously optimistic that he’s going to be back, but he’s certainly got a headache right now.”

well, we'd have a slim chance against Denver as long as we stick to LJ 30 carries, Bennett 15 carries, defense forces 3 turnovers...
