Wow, got away with a DWI the other night!

So Friday night/Saturday morning at about 3am I was on my way back from the bar when I get pulled over for a tail light being out. The officer then asks me to step out my to show me the light that was out. He then asks me if I had anything to drink and I told him that I had had a few drinks, which was really like 11-12 drinks(took 2 Jaeger bombs about 20 minutes before leaving the bar). He then asks me to do the flash light test followed by the alphabet. After that he makes me walk over to the parking lot right where I was pulled over and do the straight line test and the stand on one foot test and as Im doing these tests I get a call from my friend(more to come with that situation). Finally I get done with all his sobriety tests and we are walking back to my car and he says you are lucky Im in a good mood tonight get out of here. The whole time he was giving me orders for the sobriety test I was zoned out, the only thing running through my head was man Im going to ****ing jail. As I get to my friends house, I call my friend who called me, and he just had the same luck, he didnt have to do a sobriety test, but he got away with just a reckless driving ticket. The only bad thing from the whole deal for me was that he took my license, registration, and insurance cards away. I really dont care cause those could easily be replaced, and they are alot cheaper than a DWI fine and all the other goodies that come with it.

Do the rest of us on the road a favor. Next time you're getting looped and decide to get behind the wheel, just aim for the nearest cliff or bridge support pillar at high speed so the rest of us don't have to worry about a loved one getting killed by your ignorant choices.

Better yet, keep a pistol in the glove compartment and do yourself in that way. Less chance of hurting an innocent.

Yes, I'm sensitive about this subject. I've seen too many good people die or get hurt because of idiots like you.
