Microsoft XP Genuine Advantage
Have any of you tried to install a hacked copy of XP since Vista rolled out? I have countless keys that have worked in the past, and keygens that have worked for years, but about 4 months ago all of them stopped working. If you already have XP SP2 everything will work fine with whatever key you are using, but if you install SP1 (only install disc I have), if you try to install any patch or update that requires genuine advantage validation, NONE of my old keys work.

I am wondering if this is a master plan by Microsoft to try to encourage people to use Vista by preventing all installs of hacked XP? The funny part is, that I actually paid for a copy of Vista and upgraded this PC, but due to lack of RAM decided to go back to XP until I got a newer motherboard and now am running into problems.

Do a registry search for "WGA" and delete everything that comes up.

Hint: Use F3

if you are using XP then just do updates with firefox through windizupdate

No problem here. Did a fresh install a couple months ago.
