Safety Depth.

Several Safeties have quietly disappeared from the open market during the Manning/Winston frenzy:

Tyvon Branch
Michael Griffin
Dashon Goldson
Dwight Lowery
Mike Adams
Thomas DeCoud
Brodney Pool
Steve Gregory
Jordan Babineaux
Haruki Nakamura
Brandon Meriweather
Erik Coleman

All gone now...
We may have to shore this position up in the draft.

Might be too high to address a Backup Safety spot.

Who said anything about backup?

Put him at FS and use Lewis as depth/3rd safety.

I'm not yet ready to replace Lewis as the starter.
I thought he improved by leaps and bound last season.

We have bigger fish to fry still than the Safety position.
Just need another talented body there.

I'm thinking mid-to-late rounds. Or in FA.

Yeah, he'll probably go Round 4 or 5.
He'd be a good solid pick.

Or a Sean Richardson (Vandy).

I watched a few Boise State games this year. Not that I was every disappointed with Iloka's play, but why do you like him so much?

Versatility.

He's big enough to cover the TE and fast enough to cover the WR. He did both in college.
