Broncos would lose a good D-coordinator, Raiders gain a mediocre head coach. Not bad!

He did have a promising 1st-round QB in Byron Leftwich, followed by a guy who was pretty solid in Garrard. Not world-beaters, but it wasn't a shitfest.

Del Rio is a first-class kunnt. Did anyone fear the Jaguars while he was coaching them? He is an over-rated blow hard and I will enjoy watching Oakland continue to slide into the depths of irrelevancy.

Del Rio never impressed me as a DC, much less as a head coach. No idea why the Raiders would pick him, but it seems to me a terrible move. Wish he had gone to either the Jets or the Bills!
