Play Action Pass.

I have the game taped, but have not had a chance to re-watch it yet. Our receivers, including Gonzo, had a heck of a time getting any seperation last night, with the exception Kennison on the early bomb.

I do know that the bomb to Kennison was play action, as Green faked a dive to the left to Holmes.

And maybe I just can't remember that well, but I don't seem to recall that much play action being involved in our passing attack. It seemed as if Green pulled away from center in a three, five, or seven step dropback on nearly every other pass play.

If that is the case, and our receivers can't get any seperation under that scenario, maybe the play action should become a staple of the offense to help the receivers get open. With Holmes as the RB, the play action would have to be honored nearly every time.

Just a thought.

I don't know guys. I remember running the play action pass a handfull of times, with not much success. Green would look deep, but there was just nobody open.

You are remembering different game than I am.......

I'm quite certain that the guys I was with at the bar last night don't want to hear the words play fake again for some time. I must have sounded like a broken record calling for it.

Especially after that one drive was all run, run, run... what good is setting up the PA if you never use it?

How about that! Play action passed all the way down the field, and the WR's and Gonzo were able to get seperation.
