The Raiders game next week: a game so inconsequential if we beat Buffalo...
...that if we lose it, we somehow mathematically end up with a better chance of winning the #5 seed in the playoffs?

If you simulate the Chiefs running the table for the rest of the season, they end up with a 66% chance of landing the 5 seed.

If you simulate them winning every game for the rest of the season EXCEPT visiting Oakland next week, their odds jump to nearly 80% sure to lock up the 5 seed.

What the hell is going on here? Paging cdcox!

I'm looking at all of the remaining games as.. consequential. We have a fair shot at the postseason, even if we have two more losses of these six games. 9-7 should do it.
