I am trying. :) There is just no way I would pay $250 plus. I am going to the Faders and Chargers both for $100 -sitting on the 50 at the Faders ($65) my friend works for the Gov. and they got a chance to buy tickets extra cheap even before they went on sale.

I was really hoping to be able to commit to this by now, but unfortunately I can't yet. My wife and I are taking our first vacation in quite some time and are leaving for Reno on Sunday and heading to San Francisco from there.
I should know by next weekend when I get back if I can do it or not, and will get on here let you all know. I'm really, really hoping I can. I love this place and would love to meet you guys. If I can't make it this year, I'll plan on being out next year for sure. But I want to thank everyone who has so graciously offered to assist me in transportation from the airport and to the game on Sunday. I'm working to make this happen and am trying to come up with some extra money to do it. Don't give up on me yet!!!

I'm guessing it's more a case of selective remembering.
Yes I did- my opinion was based on years of going to games. It always seemed like a ton of Kansas folks would leave early-prob cause they had their Jayhawk gear on.
That's funny because I have been to many Chiefs games over the years and most people, in my observations, have Chiefs gear, not Jayhawks (or any other school).
The only garb that stands out to me at a Chiefs game is people wearing crap for the opposing team.

By all means. I'm pretty upset I went over our budget when we went to Reno, but the deal's we got were too good to pass up and ended up staying twice as long as planned. I'd go with later and the plan is to eat around 6,if you guys want in on that it's $13 each.I stll need about 15 on that before Sept 28th to lock in the catering company.

(I mentioned this in the BBQ thread) I could go either way on the BBQ, doesn't really matter to me personally, but it seems a lot more convenient than everyone trying to find their own grub, would make a pretty good late night snack/breakfast, and might keep a few hungry drunks off the road.

Oh, I'm sure. No worries on my end. My point is that even if there IS some friction between BRC and Sully, (which is almost unimaginable for me) it's not a reason to avoid Joe's.

Oh, I'm sure. No worries on my end. My point is that even if there IS some friction between BRC and Sully, (which is almost unimaginable for me) it's not a reason to avoid Joe's.
