I do know this will be the best turn-out since my first one, although there's a few people on the list I've heard nothing from.Even so with planeteers and a few of my local friends I turned in 66 for BBQ and that's not counting the few who opted not to eat,so we should be in for quite a bash.

Actually, that is why I never made the first few 37 Forever events. It always seemed to be around the last week of September. Our anniversary is the 26th of September (yes, Saturday made 17 years). However, I do believe one of the bashes in recent years was on our anniversary weekend and we went to it anyway. :)

Unfortunately I can't drink domestic beer as I have an allergic reaction to it but you bring whatever, all is welcome and that requirement is not to be taken seriously thus the grin face.

That got started my first year as host when Kotter and some other folks were kind enough to bring some liquor and give it to me as their host and for opening up our home.So I've always added that each year with the grin as if to say it's really really a great thought and appreciated but absolutely not necessary.

On a related note. I went down to Carthage this last weekend to visit some good friends. He had a keg of Miller Lite. Who was I to turn it down. Free beer all weekend. :D Not my favorite by far, but I drank it. I mean, what was I gonna do, turn it down? Heck no. It is okay just not as tasty as I normally prefer.

Also, add Guru to that list. He is carpooling up there with me.

I would also add that any other KU fans who wish to head up there early and watch the game before heading over to Joe's are welcome to join us.OK, so what time do I need to call to wake your ass up so we can be on time?
