NONE OF THESE ARE QUARTERBACKS!!!!!!!

Kellen Moore, Ryan Lindley or Austin Davis?

I wonder if NFLN knows that there are other divisions besides the NFC East?

That's because they picked the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl this season -The rest of the conversation is just a time killer

I don't care how crazy he is, that is legit first round talent in the 6th round. I'm actively hoping for it.

First round talent based on what?

Once in awhile, he puts a highlight reel lick on somebody. That's it. He has no concept of team defense. He is always out of place. He misses assignments. He whiffs on tackles a lot going for the big hit. And that's only scratching the surface of his issues.

Oh, and everyone better be getting ready to root for Quinn. Cuz the QB dream of this year is ****ing dead.

If Burfict can get under a coach like Romeo that can push the right buttons and get the most out of his play, he can be a monster. Dennis Ericksons dumb ass did him no favors at ASU. I lived in Phx the past two years and got to see him play a lot...He flashes HUGE ability when he wants to. The guy is a total idiot...but so was Jar Jar Charles coming out.

Plus, this is one of my favorite football photos ever...

Look, the guy may be out of place from time to time...but even with the mistakes, how many other LB's in the draft have tape that looks like this? Not many. All I'm saying is that if you can hone in on what he does best, the guy could really help us out. His form tackling is textbook, btw.

I think his craziness is what makes him perfect for it. We already have three fairly cool-headed guys at LB. Our defense needs a psychopath as a counter balance. While Tamba's bleeding on people Burfict can point at Peyton Manning and say "here we come, mother fucker."

I've seen the dude play, he reminds me this one time I created a 99 Overall linebacker on NCAA Football 2006, but my controller was broke, so everytime the ball was snapped the dude would just run off screen. By God he ran fast and powerful though.

That's why I think a coach like Romeo is perfect for Burfict (see what I did there?) because he's a disciplinarian, but he's also a guy that you want to play hard for...which is something he didn't have at ASU. Erickson's track record is to let his players do whatever the fuck they want on the field and off. If you've seen 'The U', you know what I mean.

I don't know if Crennel is right for Burfict or not.

I think the off the field issues aren't even the first concern. It's all the personal fouls and stupid things he did on the field... plus he is out there just trying to lay big hits. He's not necessarily good at diagnosing plays or staying within the defense. That doesn't fly in the NFL. And then you go into the issues off the field and his combine interviews and whatnot.

There's a difference between making a call on necessary discipline and being a disciplinarian.

As children, you usually have your mom, who is understanding and caring, who disciplines children as necessary.

A few thoughts as this draft pertains to the team:

The Chiefs feel like Allen Bailey is the next DE in line.
Lilja's days are numbered.
The Chiefs are clearly bulked up for a contract matchup with Albert.
The Chiefs probably have to sign Bowe now, as if that was ever in dispute.
I think Quinn really is Crennel's QB. Wow.
The two QBs that I think would make the best fits as late round QBs, Lindley and Coleman, are still on the board.
Our biggest hole remains depth at linebacker. But RB depth is still an issue, too.
All the best players on my big board are offensive linemen. LOL.

Going into this draft, what did we need, other than a franchise QB?

NT
RB depth
OL depth across the board
WR depth
DE depth
LB depth
CB depth
S depth

Mission largely accomplished.

Still plenty of RBs that would provide good depth on the board. I think Ballard's still out there.

Some passrushers, too. I like Julian Miller out of West Virginia, Bruce Irvin's teammate. And Pioli has a tendency to draft players who are teammates of other, higher rated prospects at the same position. (Jalil Brown, Cameron Sheffield)

Cyrus Gray, Texas A&M (projected: 5th)
5’10″, 198 lbs; projected 4.4 40 yard dash
198 rushes for 1,100 yards & 12 TDs in 2011

I watched a lot of Ryan Tannehill’s play this past season, and one player kept grabbing my eye every time Tannehill dropped back to pass: Gray is a fun pass blocker to watch, as he seems to love punishing pass rushers despite his measley sub-200 lbs size. That kind of tenacity despite his size is endearing to me as a football fan. There’s no real place for him in Kansas City, but we’d be fools not to take him if the price were really, really reasonable. Gray has really good hands coming out of the backfield and he seems to have some of the jukes in the flat that other third-down specialists like Pead and Miller lack. Gray’s never going to be a feature back, nor is he going to be much more than a solid guy in rotation, but that’s more than can be said for most guys of his diminuitive size.

Go Chiefs.
