But in limited backup role he still pulled in more tackles then Kendrell Bell did and Bell is started. Scanlon's overall on my game is a 76 now, when I created him I made his overall a 72. |

I like to keep my rosters as real as possible. I play one game a week on one dynasty. I benched warfield and welbourn for the first 4 games and sat Battle all season. I created all the rooks that made the team and updated all rosters. I am 3-1 with the one loss being Denver. Green has 9 touchdowns and 6 ints. Priest has 450 rushing and gonzo has 30 catches. Johnson is leading team in tackles with 35 and Surtain is a disapointment with no ints. McCleon has 4 and Knight has 2. Allen cant be stopped and he already has 6 sacks. I benched sims after the first game and havnt played Roaf since week one.

Just played Dallas, won 48-3. D gave up 15 total yards. Johnson had 8 sacks, 11 tackles. Bell had INT, so did Warfield. On the Offensive side Green had a horrible game going 11/28 214 yrds, 4 Td's, 2 Int's rating of a measly 77.8 or something. Holmes had 27 carries for 163 yrds, and 2 TD's. Gonzo had 3 catches for 78 yards and 2 TD's, Kennison 6 for 115 and 1 TD. Parker only had one for 14. T-Rich had 1 catch for a TD.
Through 13 games. Green has 32 TD's but a terrible 34 INT's (yeah pretty bad) Holmes has 1600 yrd's 20 TD's. Parker has 900 yards 8 Td's Kennison 800 yards 7 TD's Gonzo 750 yards 10 TD's thats the best I can remember (games off). First thing play with your coach control player management options. Get your CBs and Safeties playing hard hitting football and get your outside linebackers playing more coverage. Get your DTs stuffing the run and DEs pass rushing.
It's hard to be #1 in passing but it can be done. I'm always in the top 3 and finish #1 about half the time out of my franchise. First thing you gotta do is stuff the run on first down. On 2nd and third down blitz a linebacker or DB to the weakside of the formation and run a zone defense. You can do it in man to man but you need really good DBs. If you blitz from the left side of the offense (your defenses right side) and you have 4 down lineman you need to either flip the play or slide your d-line over otherwise your blitzer will get picked up really easy. Defenses I prefer to run against the pass include 4-3 outside linebacker fire, 3-3-5 nickel cover 2 or cover 3 (blitz a LB or DB), quarters cover 2, 3 deep quarters MLB blitz, dime cover 2 or cover 3, dime DB blitz. If you're running with the chiefs substitute DJ in as a middle linebcker on dime and quarters formations. Most of the generic blitzes in your defensive formations are run out of mainly man coverage which is why I prefer to pick a zone coverage and just blitz someone out of it. Alternatively, - this is kind've a bullshit way to play the game but pick any defensive formation where you have 4 downlineman. Control your right defensive end and move him all the way over to the other side of the left defensive end and simply rush the paser at the snap of the ball. As long as there's not a tight end on that side you'll be able to pile up a shitload of sacks playing like that but like I said it's kind've a BS way play.

hello, you're using the CHIEFS D!
Seriously though, line up in Nickel on every play, do not roll safeties and do not bump and run, unless of course you drafted good bump CB's. Cover 2 is good, or Blitz one ofr your CB's.
