Road Trip?

I have been wanting to trip it to K.C and vicinity for some time now and all I need now is just a tad bit of encouragement from you foos.

Should I stay, or should I go now?

Tentatively scheduled for 10/6 thru 1017 which would allow me to attend the Cincinnati game if I can score a pair of nosebleeds.

Even if I can't make the game, it would be fun to meet a few of you knuckleheads that share the same sort of masochistic pain that is being a Chiefs fan.

What say you? This is a community driven board after all. I could do updates on the road as I trek my way there. If you talk nice, I might even include some pics.

Check the parking lot beside the stadium. There's usually a good one there.

It will be a road show to be sure.

Donger, any word on the direction of Gas prices?

What are you talking about? That's a one day drive.

Although you should be able to do it comfortably in two 12 hour days and one overnight.

I say leave tomorrow and you'll be here in time for the bash and a chance to meet 20+ planeteers in one stop, plus you have no hotel expense.

Way back in the day, when I was 22, I stayed up all night corecting final exams for UofA in Tucson. Then, on no sleep, pulled a 13 hour shot to Fresno, Ca. to attend the end of semester bash that my homies in were throwing.

No chance of me pulling 12 hour shots these days.

I really wanted to, but the calander just didn't work out for me in September.

I could always just show up fashionably late.

Well my place is always open to a planeteer,so if you're ever in the neighborhood and need a comfortable free room don't be afraid to ask.
