Kolby is not a speed back. Charles is. World-Class speed, and a contributer to our abysmal return game.

With LJ's injury and unwillingness to focus on developing his blocking and receiving skills, common sense dictates looking for a third RB. We got outstanding value for the position we picked him.

You might be happier if we had reached on an inferior talent at a position of need. Then we might have ended up with the O Line equivalent of Junior Siavii. Woohoo!

I won't argue the blocking point with you. But LJ made a concerted effort last offseason to improve his receiving skills and it paid off. He had very good hands last year and only dropped a couple balls. Tired of Larry getting slammed unfairly over it.

I didn't see it, but I freely admit my views may be colored by my contempt for someone with the raw talent to be Epic, but who (IMO) appears to lack the heart to continue developing to that level after signing a fat contract.

I hope he proves me as wrong as I was about Herm's ability to put together a decent draft.
