I know next to nothing about Canadian Football.

Can somebody tell me if this is impressive?

I don't know if anyone cares, but Herm and Carl's kicker from last year is now kicking in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts. On Friday, Medlock went 7 for 7 with 3 kicks over 50 yards in a 36-28 loss to the BC Lions. Through 7 games Justin Medlock is 18/19 (94.7 %) and has not missed a field goal inside 50 yards.

Kickers quite often bounce around before figuring it out, and I won't be suprised to see Medlock in the NFL again in the future.

I watched the Allouetes vs. Argos game waiting for the Hall of Fame ceremonies and Medlock missed a 28 yarder, so whoever reported that he's perfect inside 50 yards is a tad "mistaken"

Medlock is kicking longer, straighter and higher....and it's all thanks to the Canadian health care system.
