This loss was squarley on Cassel

I know, Bowe dropped a huge pass. Shit happens and that did not cost us the game. What cost us the game, imo, is Cassel going to Bowe regardless of coverage on the 4th and goal play. Castille was wide open but Cassel decided to not even look that way.

Cassel continued not to check off when Indy had 9 guys in the box.

Cassle would not take a shot down the field for anything save 1 pass to Moeaki.

I think our offensive line is blocking well enough to keep Croyle healthy. Cassel has not taken many sacks this year.

So Matt Cassel, go **** yourself with a razorblade soaked in anti-freeze.

We had every chance to win this game and should have. We should have buried the Colts.

You have to spread the blame around a bit. There were three plays that changed the game.

Cassel's horrible 4th down throw.
Charles fumble when we were gashing them.
Bowe's killer drop right after the INT.

But that's what the great teams don't do. The game might have changed on any of those three plays. I think that Bowe's drop was the killer, just because we'd made the INT and finally broke Peyton, we had them on the ropes, and we went for the kill shot and the lead.

This might be the one game I WOULDN'T put on Cassel.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I agree 100%. Bowe should be shown the door before practice tommorow. He is worthless.

As much as I hate Cassel (I ****ing hate Cassel) Bowes drops made arguments about the fifty+ drops last year like a legit argument. Catch the damn ball!

Our defense kept us in the game till the four minute mark in the fourth quarter & if we could have keapt drives going in the third quarter and possible points on the board we could have won this game. Our defense played a damn good game, but can't expect Manning not to score when he get's the ball back after short drives by our offense.

Next week is going to be a character game to show if we can respond to a loss with a win. Cassel and the offense have got to learn how to matriculate the ball down field and make opportunities to score TDs. We have got to produce in the red zone but we allso have to keep drives alive to get into the redzone.
