Schefter - McDaniels is safe through 2011


Just heard this on NFL Countdown.

Basically there is no way Bowlen is going to fire McDaniels because he owes him 3 mil per year and he's still paying Shanahan through 2011.

If he fires McDaniels now he has to pay three head coaches at once.

Not happening.

Yes and its only 3 million a year.Hell everyone knows a respectable HC with real ability and an actual plan to better a team goes for 5-7 million a season.
