Top free agents shunned KC in the past: now not so much.
In the past 35 years with all the hot garbage we had here as QBs, we would be at the bottom of the barrel for any top quality free agents when they considered a trade or to sign with a new team. Only Joe Montana brought interest until now.

A by-product of finally having our own QBOTF and a great one at that, players and their agents see Kansas City as a great landing spot to finally get to the promised land!

Another positive from the Mahomes effect!

Some is enough. You aren't signing every free agent. If there are a half dozen good free agents and one takes a discount to play in KC, that is a big deal.

I know he wasn’t that great, but we haven’t had a good run defense since Shaun Smith was grabbing nutsacks.

Now you may be saying, “SNR, having ball grabbing DL doesn’t mean you have a good run defense!”
