This beer-throwing incident from 2001...

Speaking of throwing beer, bad officiating and Raider-like fans... JAX @ CLE. I can't even.

I don't think they numbered the world wars in prehistoric times.

I wonder if that white hat kept his job?

Completely forgot about this game. Luckily no one got hurt --"someone got hit in the head with a bottle and is down with their head split open" -- yep, sounds like no one was hurt.. jfc

They were mad because they didn't get away with a dropped pass on 4th down. **** em. I understand you aren't supposed to go back 2 plays but perhaps the decision was made to review it before the spike play and for whatever reason the whistle wasn't blown in time. Either way, catch the ball like you're supposed to on 4th down and you won't have to worry.

Terry McAulay was the white hat in that game. He's retired from the NFL, but is the "rules expert" for NBC football broadcasts now.

Geez....

Having him interpret the rules is like asking Rodney Harrison to critique what is and isn't unsportsmanlike conduct!

That’s what’s so infuriating about officiating. It’s always been such a good old boys network with no accountability.
