Cardinals are scheduled to leave for New York today, so now there are questions whether they can leave to fly East for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

From a competitive standpoint, you're pretty much right. The issue is that games that don't get played don't make any money, and the players on those teams don't get paid.

Makes sense. Saints had to do the same thing last week and it turned into a false positive. Probably where the Jets are right now.

Unless you're the Titans most teams seem to be shutting things down pretty quickly. And I'm guessing the NFL is sending a pretty strong message to players. "don't be that guy." i think it's a temporary blip and a few weeks from now the NFL will have it pretty much under control.
