We played well enough to win on a short week after the first game of the season.. The Chargers ran out of gas before us. Gerald Everett was a prime example. Didn't run a good route because he was spent and that resulted in a pick 6 game changer..

Willie Gay needs to play under a little more control. He totally whiffed 4-5 tackles last night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There was some muggings going on downfield last night and the zebras didn't appears to notice when the muggee was wearing a red jersey. Then there was the body slam of Kelce. That should have been an unsportsmanlike call.
There's also been mention that teams don't fear our WRs now that Hill has left. It wouldn't have mattered last night if Hill and his clone were in the game because Bosa and Mack were in the backfield all night. Heck has got to get his shit together and come up with some different schemes when we play the Bolts again. I'm not too concerned about most other teams we'll play because they didn't build a defense to beat the Chiefs. They key is to adjust BEFORE halftime. I know it's almost a sacrilege to suggest, but let's give those deep coverage/blitz crazy teams a little taste of vintage Martyball and see how long they can stand 12 to 15 play TD drives. |

After two killer 15 yard penalties, I expected the 2nd round pick Bryan Cook to be released, but guess Andy is a cooler head than that.

You don't release a 2nd rd pick because of 2 penalties, but I'd bet good money that coach Reid and Spags was between elbow and shoulder deep up in his ass and I doubt it'll happen again anytime soon.

The first penalty was embarrassing for the sport of football. Charger ran up to the kid screaming and talking shit and Smith pushed him. Charger reacted like he took body blows from Canelo Alvarez. Play wouldn't even register in the NBA or the NHL.

Was listening to game on the radio so I didn't see it but I'd still bet the coaches will "rectum-fy" the situation

The Chiefs page on ESPN’s website has two videos called: “Why Stephen A. doesn’t see Mahomes as an MVP candidate” And “Stephen A.: Patrick Mahomes is Josh Allen’s biggest competitor for MVP” Both videos were posted after the game against the Chargers, so Mahomes didn’t play any games in between them. Incredible.
