thoughts about the game.

Oh **** that was close lordy. A few things.

Herbert in the second half we were going to destroy him. Why didn't they keep chase in the game.

clark and jones god they got pissed. They were going to kill herbert on live tv. Plus love seeing furious george out there.

Patrick played well despite mack and bosa they were both on him big time. They played so well.

Finally loved that on 3rd down they play the purge horn. I was like oh **** don't let Clark and Jones hear that herbert was the first person purged.

That’s surprising. Sure seemed like they got anything they wanted early.

There was a handful of 6-8 yard runs, but the Chargers never broke anything long (like CEH of all people did).

Everything else went for like 1-3 yards.

Just preventing the long runs will keep the average way down. Which is definitely not something we’ve done in years past.

This is two games in a row. I’m excited to see how they look against the Colts now.

Chiefs got lucky tonight., Consider it karma for the superbowl against the bucs.
And karma for the 4-turnover game against the Chargers last year. That was a flukey win for the Chargers. All 4 of the turnovers happened in Chargers territory, including 3 of them in the Red Zone. This time it feels the other way. Flukey win for KC.

I don't have a good feeling about the offensive line or Mahomes after watching them get whipped so much this evening. The OL has to be much better than what we saw tonight. Patrick needs to make better choices with the ball under pressure. Felt like he had at least 5 throws that could have been turnovers.

Seemed like most of those were on short passes to the flats. Gay (especially) needs to slow down a tick and wrap up. He doesn’t need to kill the ball carrier every time. It’s absolutely fine to hold someone up long enough to get help. We don’t need a kill shot every time.

Pat with three huge improvisations. The two TDs and the toss to Kelce before the first FG

Yup. Break down and make the tackle instead of trying to end their lives. That alone would have given him an insanely great game instead of a meh-ish one.

The Chargers are ****ing good. This was a good victory. It wasn't always pretty but it's a division game against arguably a top 5 team in the league. Chiefs found a way to get it done. No complaints here.

Lol, what? Our offense scored a whopping 3 ****ing points in the second half of that game. in what fantasy land does a NFL team win any game scoring 3 goddamn points in a game? Here, let me help: they don't, ever. Damn, I mean seriously?
