It comes to my attention that watching other nfl teams is like watching paint dry. My favorite team the Chiefs are most exciting team always. Just way better even my stepmom who don't like sports think the chiefs are more exciting then the cowboys who her full blooded sons love.

p.s.Even before QB 1 The Chiefs were exciting deberg and his play action plays. DT calling his safety. Dante Hall kickoff return. Len Dawson quick strikes to Qtis and Willie Lanier monster sacks.

Narrative on this mornings sports talk radio was outside of Buffalo and Kansas City no one cares about the NFL with the exception of gamblers. Basically saying how does anyone watch this crap unless you put money on it.

The two deep shell defense is forcing offenses to eschew the big play and go on long drives.

Which generally are dull compared to lightning strike offenses.

The NFL has jumped the shark with all of these safety measures. Refs are now over 50% of the game.

Mahomes salvages it.

In the next 10 years or so the Chiefs will replace the Packers & Steelers as fan favorites. I expect this will start showing itself in the international games first because new fans are coming aboard.

If I was a 8 year old kid again…I’m not sure I’d watch any of it. Flagfests are boring.

Its not that. Just a bunch of dropped passes, miscommunication, bad play, and horrible play selection.

It not D getting better because the modern NFL has pretty much did away with defense.

I think it is the lack of practice time finally coming home to roost.

It's been bad for a long while, but in the past there were the Mannings, Brady, Brees, even Roethlisberger and Matt Ryan and guys who could at a bare minimum run an NFL offense.

Now there's Mahomes and Allen... and then uh, Burrow?

It's been a QB league without enough decent QBs for years, and this year is particularly bad.

It's football. Everyone watches it. It's not soccer or ice soccer or boomerball. It's as good as you're gonna get even when it isn't s exciting as years past.
