Let's talk about the Jaguars (AFC Divisional Round)

Discuss.

ALL divisional round games last year other than KC/Buf were 3 point games. Chiefs were 6.

After seeing wild card weekend, I believe this will be another close game.

Reasons I think we win:

1). This is one of the best Chiefs teams ever. 6.4 yards per play on offense, 5.1 yards per play allowed on defense. Best differential in the league. Both sides better than last year by a decent amount, especially the D.

2.) Chiefs dominance over last few years makes them them the AFC team to beat, and we are used to near playoff intensity from teams.

3. We're simply better on BOTH sides of the ball. Jax is a good team, no doubt, we're just better.

Minor concerns:

1.) It's hard to imagine us losing without the OTs getting owned. It's possible, but not likely, and even if they do, we still prolly win.

2.) The other playoff-like games this year -- Cinci and Buffalo, we didn't play well. Sloppy and and the pesky OT issue surfaced.

3% picked Jacksonville (12 out of 406).

Divisional Playoff history under PMII

Led Colts 24-13 in the 4th. Was kinda tense. finished 31-13

Down 0-24 to Houston. 51-31

Led Cleveland 19-3 @ half. Needed a great play by Sorenson to force a goal line fumble by Higgins to prevent a TD or goal to go situation or it would have been a 16-10 game at halftime.

Needed the scramble by Henne on 3 and 15 and the 4th and 2 conversion to run out the clock.

And of course the Buffalo 13 seconds game last year.
