Let's talk about the Jaguars (AFC Divisional Round)

Discuss.

I feel pretty good about this game. They've got some weapons, and they're playing better than they were when we handled them earlier this year, but still.

It took everything they had in their tackle box to survive last week. The Chargers threw up one of the worst halves of football that's been played this season by anyone, and they still had to win as time expired.

They will feel the same way as us, "if we limit our unforced errors we've got a shot," but really - if the Chiefs turn up we can't be beaten by anything but an A game from an opponent. They have the propensity to turn the ball over and are not an experienced postseason team.

No disrespect to them, but I expect to win in something beyond a 1 score game.

I fully expect this game to be close.

Divisional Playoff history under PMII

Led Colts 24-13 in the 4th. Was kinda tense. finished 31-13

Down 0-24 to Houston. 51-31

Led Cleveland 19-3 @ half. Needed a great play by Sorenson to force a goal line fumble by Higgins to prevent a TD or goal to go situation or it would have been a 16-10 game at halftime.

Needed the scramble by Henne on 3 and 15 and the 4th and 2 conversion to run out the clock.

And of course the Buffalo 13 seconds game last year.

One close game (vs obviously a far better team than Jacksonville), two blowouts, and another that was on its way to being a blowout before Mahomes left the game.

Hear so many talking heads who are saying take the Jags and the points...with some of them saying the Jags could win without the points.

I just want the win...to shut up all the late to the dance Jags bandwagon commentators.

Part of me wants to see KC boatrace the Jags and beat the by 21

Didn't the Colts score late in the 4th to make it 24-13? Don't remember that one being tense at all.

The Texans game seemed to be all nerves, and of course unforced errors is always a bit more of a concern given the shitty weather today... hopefully not 15 of them like the first part of that game.

I'm with you. I want a bloodbath just so the media shuts the **** up for a few days. Might be a little less talk about the Bills or Bengals winning the AFCCG.

I’m definitely not seeing a lot of predictions of Jacksonville winning outright.

I was listening to 610 on the drive in yesterday afternoon, and Carrington mentioned a site that compiles all picks from a ton of different websites.

Three people picked the Jags outright.

Yeah...most of the talking mouths spend most of the time talking about how the Jags are much improved and can keep the game close...and with the right bounce can steal a late victory...then hedge by saying I am taking the Jags and the points....then with their last 4 words they say "but the Chiefs will win"

I give the Chiefs about a 100% chance of making it to the AFCCG if they win today

They blocked a Colquitt punt and got a turnover for a score *shanked PAT*. Also missed a 40 yarder. 24-7 @ half.

Chiefs put it on ice with a TD scramble by Pat with 3 minutes to play.

The game was closer than the score indicated. (in my mind).
