Choose one active NFL player to add to this Chiefs team

Spinoff from an IRL conversation tonight:

If you could choose one active NFL player to add to this Chiefs team, who would it be?

Assume that there are no trades or compensation involved, that you could just make the player of your choice a member of the Chiefs at their current age and they would be ready to play and contribute fully, immediately. They must be an active player in the league, not a historical player.

For the sake of the discussion, assume that any cap issues that would result are surmountable, and that the player wants to be a Chief for the foreseeable future. This is a question about the player's skills and abilities and not the business side of things.

So... who would you choose?

I'd prefer not to do that.

If you don't have to pay him yet, then you can worry about it later, and keep either Jones or Jefferson. Probably not both.

But if you have to jettison Jones to fit Jefferson right now, mid-season, then that's a different thing entirely.

Lol, you guys didn't read the OP, huh?

Garrett/Bosa/Parsons/Watt

Take your pick. So many elite pass rushers now in the NFL.

Parsons: 24, Best pass rusher in the NFL already?

Nick Bosa: 25, I take Parsons over Bosa

TJ Watt: 28, Parsons

Myles Garrett: 27, Fits Spags D to a T but still take Parsons because of age...Garrett would be my 2nd choice for D.

Parson fits perfectly into the time line of Jones.

Curve Ball..........

We have seen what Reid, Pat and Kelce can do without Tyreek...WIN THE SUPER BOWL!

We saw how the O ran vs the Lions without Kelce.

How about Kyle Pitts? Truely is elite and I think with Reid and Pat he could produce Kelce like numbers when Kelce retires and lives off money bags TAY TAY.

While Kelce is still playing, Reid would have wet dreams screaming up packages with both out there on the field!

SO?

Pat doesn't need a elite WR like Tyreek or Jefferson, he needs an elite TE to allow him to KEEP BEING MAHOMES! Kyle Pitts does just this!

Kyle Pitts(age 22) over Jefferson(24)? Maybe, just maybe!

Same.

Defense is playing well so this offense with Jefferson would be amazing.

Sorry, I made my pick under the prescribed criteria, and then added a little reality in. My bad.
