Why is noone talking about...
Pick the player you think nobody is talking about, but should be. Feel free to comment.
My pick is definitely Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas. For a guy that put up measurables that compare to Clay Matthews, he sure isn't getting much recognition. He continued to grow as a player and put up 82 tackles, 19 for a loss, and 13 sacks in 2013 as a defensive end. At 6'3" 247, he projects well as an OLB in a 3-4. While he does need to gain strength, his sub-7 second 3-cone makes me believe he can stick with TEs in space and we already know he can get after the QB. We also know his football pedigree, with his dad Jim being a standout with Dallas. With his draft stock hovering around the 3rd round right now, he could end up a steal. |
