Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Arizona Cardinals are close to completing a deal to trade CB Duane Starks, for a third-round draft choice in 2005, to the New England Patriots.

Yeah, makes you wonder why a three time champions would be involved in the FA market if it's truly only media/agent driven demand of supply.

Why would a team like the Patriots bother appeasing fans, media, agents if there is little worth?
