How close are you to your parents/step-parents/guardians? (1 vote for Mom, 1 for Dad)

For the purposes of this poll, please respond for the person that you feel closest to, whether it be a natural parent, adoptive parent, step-parent, foster parent, legal guardian, motherly she-wolf, or hobo that took you on the trains with him and raised you as his own.

If this person has passed away, please answer regarding how you felt when the person was alive.

Neither, I haven't talked to my mother for about a year, and I haven't had any contact whatsoever with my father for over a decade.

I voted "close" for both of them. I visit them and/or speak with them a few times a week. I enjoy spending time with them, but I wouldn't call them buddies.

havent spoken with my father since 95'. Can count the times ive seen my mother on one hand since 99'.
I was very very close with my dad, my mother had some hardtimes in her life but has really turned her life around and i couldnt be more proud.

i talk to him he just doesnt respond. but i still talk to him.

Very close – We’re good friends and hang out together socially just for fun and/or talk on the phone very frequently.	2	8.33%
