Bill Williamson, of ESPN.com, reports the Kansas City Chiefs probably will peruse trade options for RB Larry Johnson this offseason. He would probably be released if the Chiefs can't find a trade partner.

I don't see his trade value as much at all right now, and I don't see us flat out cutting him either.

Never know though...I guess it depends on what goes on behind the scenes and how he will get along with his new bosses

Living out here in Denver, it is well known that Shanny really likes LJ. If Shanny has any say I bet he lobbies to keep LJ. I'm not an LJ fan either but LJ would be even MORE stupid not wanting to stay to play for a potential SB team in 2-3yrs.

Shanny has said on more than one occasion that he really likes the young core of Chief players(Bowe,Flowers,Carr,Dorsey,Albert). Shanny has insinuated that he could not work for very many GMs in the NFL but did state that he could easily work for Pioli. Shanny has a great respect for Pioli's personnel work in NE. And Scott has a huge respect for Shanny's X's and O's ability. Shanny was one of the few coaches that gave the Bellichek/Pioli regime "FITZ" everytime they played each other. Both admire each other's work very much. Take it FWIW, but Shanny called Pioli soon after Pioli was hired by the Chiefs to congratulate him.

If I had an iron-clad guarantee that Pioli and Shannahan would draft Sanchez, I would wipe the slate clean and voice no further objections.

But that is the ONLY scenario in which that would happen. Anything less is just Mickey Mouse bullshit.
