Bill Williamson, of ESPN.com, reports the Kansas City Chiefs probably will peruse trade options for RB Larry Johnson this offseason. He would probably be released if the Chiefs can't find a trade partner.

Doesn't matter if LJ fits in a Shanahan system. So can guys like Charles and K.Smith. bottomline, LJ is not a team guy. He doesn't fit the Patriot mold like what pioli is bringing here. Thats what this decision will come down to imo.

Charles is not an every down back.

Hes most effective with 10-15 touches a game with an occasional 20 touch game mixed in every now and then.

I think LJ is pretty much like alot of superstar players with an ego.

Everything is roses when team is winning and he believes in the cause.

Everything turns to sh*t, when team isnt doing well or he doesnt believe in the cause.
