When you are used to getting calls go your way, it’s even harder to deal with when those calls stop as you feel entitled to them.

I was pretty young at time, so I didn’t really get it.

But now, I still don’t understand how a team could get caught cheating in-game and not be immediately disqualified.

Or at least toss all guilty players immediately.

I thought the refs handled that incident very poorly. They just made the cheating broncos go to the sidelines and pretend to wipe their uniforms down, and they stopped the game so they could do this charade.

No.

The proper approach would have been to send the offenders to the locker room with orders to put on new uniforms. Then you carry on with the game. They can rejoin the game when they're changed and return to the field.

How many times have we seen Patrick get slammed like that and not gotten the call. I agree that it should have been called, but unless you're name is Brady, the refs are wildly inconsistent in calling those

I was about to post the same thing. Roughing the passer is a judgement call and the officials have been wildly inconsistent this year. I have seen ticky-tacky calls and body slams ignored. You never know when it will be called.

I noticed nobody mentioned that the only reason the donks were even in the game was due to several ticky tack calls against the Chiefs. One of which led to a first down on a busted ass 4th down attempt.

That was not a “ticky tack” call. It was a bonehead penalty by a defender who does some bonehead stuff.
