Yip. Exactly.

Remember when Broncos fans were upset that they would get all the calls with Peyton?

Me neither.

The refs were helping their stupid asses by not stopping the play so that Russ had a chance to get the ball out and these ****sticks don't even realize it.

I cannot wait until the same thing happens to Mahomes against Denver and he just blindly throws it backwards up over his head for a first down or TD. And these same clowns will utterly melt down that the whistle should have been blown.

Refs gave breaks to both sides in this game. Chiefs won clean.

The PI call was bad, but they also got a TD on a drive when our defense had stopped them with a couple of ridiculous penalties. There’s no way that the Jones call was roughing, but if some donkey losers want to whine about it on twitter because their message board went kaput, so be it. At least our close wins over them have given them false hope in Russ for the future.

Remember when we played them a few weeks ago and Jerry Jeudy bumped purposefully into an official and wasn’t ejected?

Let them play or don't, but you have to pick a lane here.
I agree, they should have blown the play dead. Wilson was still trying to get the ball out. I don't have any problem protecting the QB, especially since we have a half billion dollar one, but there has to be some kind of review of the current guidelines.

I was pretty young at time, so I didn’t really get it.

But now, I still don’t understand how a team could get caught cheating in-game and not be immediately disqualified.

Or at least toss all guilty players immediately.

This is where I'm at, too.

There are irrational sore-loser fans that blame the refs, yes. It's quite common, for sure. This thread has some evidence. But that doesn't mean that any or all fan-blaming of refs fits into that category. Tim Donaghy is some evidence of that.

It's best taken as a case-by-case situation, with a high bar to be taken seriously. I do believe the Chiefs in recent times have cleared that bar, at times by a lot.
