Who do you believe to be rated higher for no apparent reason? Not trying to be argumentative, just curious.
I agree with Hamas. Of all of the guys I've seen since the 70's, which include Barbaro, Spani, Lewis, Cherry, Burress, Alt, Okoye, Hackett, Maas, Bell, Still and on and on and on, I can't think of anyone that's held in higher regard for being an incomplete player. Thomas was clearly a phenomenal pass rusher but he wasn't great in coverage or against the run. Houston is an all around great player that's just entering his prime. He may finish Top Two in Chiefs linebacker history. The only thing that sucks about Houston is that he was drafted by Pioli. |

leave it to Chiefs fans to bash on Derrick Thomas, a hall-of-famer, and call him overrated
for ****'s sake |

![]() DT transformed this team to a playoff team-I am not sure how that is over rated. Nobody got the crowd going better than DT. |

They'd have been transformed regardless of DT's presence. |

Talking out of your ass again. I knew DT-had many interactions with him-and he was far from a shitty human. He was funny, kind, generous -perfect no-but a great person and good to his fans and friends. Plus he started the 3rd and Long Foundation, NFL man of the Year. I got to spend a lot of time with him over many years with my job and I never saw him be a dick to anyone. Him and Dan Saleaumua were always a blast to be around. Class acts.
Far more than you have ever done- so how about shutting the **** up about things you know nothing about. ![]() |

![]() Marty didn't get 6 sacks in a game and hit Steve Young so hard he was puking on the field. DT took over games. Not ****ing Marty Ball. |

shitty human, eh? Because he wasn't the most intelligent guy from the most educated upbringing and fathered several children with different women?
that alone makes him a shitty human? ok |

Agree to disagree. The Chiefs have failed to have back to back playoff appearances for 20 years, despite the head coach, and haven't had a win in 21.

I love how middle class to upper middle class white men like to judge these kids who come from inner-cities that have no educations and would have had no chance had it not been for their athletic ability ...
yeah, hand them a million dollars and suddenly that makes up for 18 years of little to no education sheer brilliance, on this board "if they ever gave me a million dollars I wouldn't squander it on jewelry and cars and women!" well yeah, because you were brought up in a two parent household where values were instilled and education was a priority I'm sure you really relate to most of these guys. |
