My Father
Hello CP:

I got word today that my father was taken to the ER with what they suspect was a stroke. Unfortunately, after CT and MRI scans, they found two lesions on his brain. They believe that he has cancer somewhere else in his body and that these lesions have metastasized from that. My family and I are waiting for more word from his doctors.

I am beside myself. My father is an amazing man and until now, in unbelievable health considering his age (70) and what he has been through in his life. We were just on a tropical island together SCUBA and skin diving, with him able to descend on lung power far lower than I.

I don't have any friends except for family. I've never really had the need. But, I feel that need now. If you would, please say a prayer, send good thoughts or anything positive toward my father.

So sorry Donger you never will quit missing him but with time the pain of the loss wont be so unbearable. I look at it as he now is visiting with family and friends who passed before him and preparing for they day you all will be back together. RIP Senior Donger prayers to the Donger family and wishes the pain of your loss is not to heavy.

Remember to not be afraid to talk to anybody once life starts to go back to normal. I've found that once you get back into your old routine is the time it can hit the hardest.
