Bucs abused the defense...

I don't care what you have to say about Smith or the offense. The Chiefs defense got absolutely ass pumped by the Bucs. They got one stop because Winston dropped the ball. When the game was on the line they couldn't stop anything. They gave up 5-8 ypc runs all day long. WR's were running around wide open and no one even sniffed Winston's jock.

Blame who you want on offense and there is blame to be had by them and Reid. But the defense killed us today.

He scored two TDs today.

I think Reid called that play because he knows Alex Smith can't throw a hail mary to save his life.

I didn't say it had to be a 54 yard kick'

Once again...

Kicker is healthy they bypass a 54 yard kick because of wind.

Kicker is healthy and they throw an int in the end zone, would have been a gimme fg.

Kicker gets hurt and you expect us to drive 40-50 yards in 2 minutes with no timeouts and automatically kick a fg in the same windy conditions. With the Same offense that took over 4 minutes to score a td on the previous drive.

You aren't making sense dude.

I double took on your post. It's amazing to see how far Ford has come along that we consider him a huge loss when he's not on the field.

That's right. The defense played bad. But they still held them to 19 points. If our offense can't score 19 points, at home, they suck.

Jeez...you'd associate those numbers with an option QB in the NCAA who throws less than 20 passes a game, not a starting NFL QB. Wow.

Amen.

If the offense doesn't turn the ball over, the Chiefs kick the FG instead of coming up with the goose egg.

Only a total dipshit can't see that the defense actually played good; considering how long they were on the field, every time Alex went 3 and out, they went back out there, getting their shit pushed in like a slut on prom night, and somehow kept holding them to FGs, and only gave up 19 PTs. Penis Winston had 311 yards, ran the Bucs up and down the field, and yet had to settle for 4 FGs.

Only a truly inept offensive team can't score 20 points at home.

All the Chiefs had to do to get to 20 was not turn the ball over...

Agreed. The offense had a chance to pick up the D today and failed. Kelce's drop, Alex's INT, and missing some 3rd down chances. Alex's throw to Conley in double coverage when he could have ran for it was pretty bad. Not scoring a TD on the first drive killed what was an incredible amount of momentum to start the game.

The defenses horrid play today doesn't cancel out all that. We don't have to pick one thing to blame here. There is plenty to go around. Sutton sitting on his thumb and not bringing pressure, Andy still not knowing how a clock ****ing works, ect. The D caused the offense to not have enough plays, but the offense could have and should have done more with the big moments they had.

This is what is going to happen in the playoffs. Good teams are going to make us have to win a way we aren't used to. It isn't going to go to script, and this result is part of the concern some have. That off script, the coaches and stars aren't going to do enough.

correct, those are numbers are basically Carson Wentz's year 1 numbers in the NFL. Fresh out of college and Wentz stats so far are Alex Smith in year 11. Quite sad really.
