Wow. Don't press send.

What kind of person looking to get paid posts some shit like this?

Not only is this an admission of not being that guy, and never will be, hell, youre not even up to the challenge, but it's also hilariously inaccurate.

When Tyreek Hill left, Mecole Hardman had the #1 WR spot for the taking. More experience in the system than Juju, Skyy, MVS, and Justin Watson, and you STILL weren't that guy.

Making excuses saying herp derp everyone else was better than me is the dumbest thing you can post. Good luck with Aaron Rodgers.

And in many many ways they did. Hardman was hugely instrumental to the 2019 championship run, especially over the latter half of the season and into the playoffs. And I think he was due for a big year this year in Hill's absence but for the first time in his career, he got hurt.

It was bad circumstances and bad luck that led to a pick that really ended up being okay when all was said and done. I mean I think he was probably among the top 40 guys taken to this point from that draft (no really, look it up) and he went 56th.

If he didn't make the top 40, it was still pretty close. He's no worse than a top 60 player in terms of overall contributions.

I think he made a mistake leaving but in the end it seems pretty apparent that it all ran its course. I ain't gonna shit on him for that.

This thread probably saved my career.

I minimized a sternly worded response to a former client who wants me to do something for them again. I opened the planet to chill my mind for a minute and this thread saved me from sending Fire through the fiber.

It’s amazing how many people will do that through company email and “hit reply all”.

I'm not arguing he's a great player or anything but had he stayed healthy this season, he would have broken 700 yards.
Fair enough, but he didn't stay healthy. He had four straight years on a team that wanted him to be a star. He was regularly mentioned in the mix of "weapons" the Chiefs have as if he was significant in some way. I personally felt better about throwing the ball to Byron Pringle when he was still here.

I know I was always more down on Mecole than the norm. For whatever reason, his errors tended to push my buttons. I wish him well, though. Seemed like a good teammate and was part of those championship teams. He had his moments amidst a lot of opportunity.

Maybe he's saying he *is* the guy, except when the very top NFL guys are on the same roster.

My favorite is when somebody does a "reply all" on some corporate notification. Then you get thousands of follow-up emails from people using "reply all" to tell other people not to "reply all".

Hardman had about 4-5 excellent plays in his entire time here, substantially below expectations.

Those plays were easily offset by the plethora of bone head plays he had. The guy was a disaster waiting to happen on special teams so much that he was removed from that role.

Numerous huge plays missed because he didn't know he was the hot read. None more egregious than in the SB loss, where the blitz comes, Mahomes drops it out to a wide open Mecole Hardman who is not even aware of the football being thrown. A walk in td if he simply understands what the **** he was supposed to do on that play.

Numerous times where he gives up on the route, slows up, and the ball comes to him overthrown because he didn't finish his assignment.

Million dollar athleticism, 2 cent brain.
