So are you willing to give Herm and Carl a "Do over" ?

Just curious....

Maybe if the Chiefs had drafted a decent QB like Ryan, things might be different.

Look at how quickly Atlanta and Miami have turned things around.

Can Herm and Carl learn from their mistakes?? Would you be down with that, or reject it?

Miami and Atlanta have zero input in my answer, they are irrelevant to our situation. Hell ****ing no. Carl has had his time, no more comment is needed where he is concerned. Herm coaches a B.S. chicken sh*t game. Even with what we have as team at this point, which I think we have more talent than last years team, the end product is even worse. You put that on the coaching staff. I never expected playoffs this season. Really not even 4+ wins, but the way the direction of this team is going is way below bad. This team plays worse than a bad NFL team. It would also be nice if Clark H. would step up and at least make a statement that what he has seen is unacceptable and start to put some a little heat on this joke of a coaching staff and front office.

I do.

900 points in value to move from the 5th pick to the 2nd.

So, we would have had to give up our 1st, 2nd and TWO of our three 3rd round picks.

All for a guy 90% of this board would be bitching about because he wouldn't have the time to throw, the strong running game or receivers to benefit him that he has in Atlanta.
Who said we should have traded up to get Ryan?

Partly a pre-emptive strike, but do you not read this board?

I don't have the time, nor the desire to use our archaic search function to find posts to answer your question.

I know Mecca has mentioned it, then again, he's still wondering why we didn't pick Cromartie...

There are plenty, trust me - or don't.

**** NO! Those fools thought they had something in Brodie Croyle -
They also thought they had a right side of an OL and a #2 WR. They're so bad that thier HOF player wants out. They could NOT have blown this deal any worse than they have. They need to be fired now.

I bet anything Clark gives then a "do-over" .

Wasn't Cromartie picked just ahead of where KC picked?

Ok, I misunderstood and thought it was partly directed at my comment or the OP.

The only point of my post was just to show how piss poor Peterson continues to be at talent evaluation.

I will pretty much say we should have moved for Cromartie he was 1 pick ahead when we were picking like 18th that isn't anything to move...

The Ryan argument has more to do with everyone who absolutely did not want him and said he was elevated do to a bad class. Or said he was no better a prospect than Croyle..that's more a comment on peoples lack of an ability to judge a QB than it is saying we should have traded.

Going into that draft there were a ton of people that wouldn't have wanted Ryan if he was on the board or not...that is the point.

Yea pretty much.

I will stick by my thread that we should have drafted Rodgers over DJ in 05. No doubt about it.

Wouldn't matter. Even if the Chiefs did get Ryan, he wouldn't get any playing time at all, and if he did, he'd be already ruined by this shitty-assed coaching staff.

I guess every player we drafted this past year is going to be a complete bust then.
