Going into that draft there were a ton of people that wouldn't have wanted Ryan if he was on the board or not...that is the point.
Wouldn't matter. Even if the Chiefs did get Ryan, he wouldn't get any playing time at all, and if he did, he'd be already ruined by this shitty-assed coaching staff.

I guess every player we drafted this past year is going to be a complete bust then.

Except for the secondary. Seems like the secondary players have improved, regardless of who they are. Other than that, everybody else has either shown no progress or regressed.

So we should just forfeit the draft when we have a bad administation?

Too bad we ruined guys like Neil Smith and Okoye because they played under Ganz.

Ganz never coached them up. They didn't reach their full potentional until Marty.

Thats exactly my point. Just because you have bad management running the show, doesnt mean you stop stockpiling talent in fear they might get ruined.

I want a coaching staff that can stockpile talent, and also develop them in the process.

I don't want a coaching staff that can't hit for shit (DV's drafting) and ruin the franchise without any young core players.

I don't want a coaching staff that can hit for shit (Herm's drafting) and still run the franchise without properly developing the young players.

Exactly.

And again, RYAN WASN'T AVAILABLE TO US.

Why is that so hard for people to comprehend?

You are completely missing the point.....of course that is a solid deflection because I seem to recall before that draft you were one of the guys not wanting him right...

Before the draft the Chiefs went to see the guy workout in person and seemed to like him alot.

I wish they would have tried harder to move up when the Rams passed on him.
