Ok, who here is at least somewhat of a conspiracy buff? Which ones do you believe strongly in and which do you think are bs? Any of your own?

Just because we don't have a concept of something doesn't mean it's impossible. Every generation thinks they have reached the peak of technology, but breakthroughs WILL happen. If we manage to survive 2012 that is.

You're clueless about a lot of things. No one ever said "We will never have something like that! Phones and TVs will never get better!"

No one really said that, and no one really thought that. I get the feeling most of your historical understanding comes from commercial breaks during Ice Truckers on the History Channel. There's no indication of any astronomical understanding on your part in this thread. We crossed the mother ****ing ocean. Great. The chance of getting to another solar system without a breakthrough of evidence and application of string theory or use of the seventh or eighth dimension is as close to zero as you can think of before falling asleep.

I don't ****ing care if you went to Disney World, took a Space Mountain ride, play the Star Wars games, and was told that if you can imagine it, you can achieve it. Our galaxy is huge. All our knowledge about it is increasing, and it's not leading to this idea that we're going to be going somewhere else. It's the opposite. We're ****ing here for good. Get the **** over it.

I can't believe I spent time reading world renowned physicists works when right here, all along, on ChiefsPlant no less, we have a man that knows the limits of future space travel as well the limits of intelligence of life all across the entire universe.

Jenson if you were half as smart as you thought you were you wouldn't be arguing your case on this BB. You can theorize based on what knowledge we have at our disposal at the moment but you don't know absolutes now matter how much you want to look like you do or pretend you do for your ego.

I'm not an astronomer. I'm not a scientist. I'm not a physical science major.

My point is, we don't know that everything around us is not an illusion. It could be. But there is no evidence to suggest it is. So it's unreasonable to suggest that it probably is. Because it probably isn't. Same thing with aliens coming here, or us being aliens to natives of another solar system. Why would you think or believe in aliens coming here? Why would you say the government knows about it but is hiding it?

It is unreasonable to think that aliens have come to earth. It is unreasonable to think that we will go to another solar system. Could we? Yes. It would take something we have no evidence of even remotely attaining. Could we be an illusion? Yes. But to prove this, it would take something we have no evidence of.

Most people who think aliens have come or can come think they have really fast spaceships and are pale with big heads.

Think of a spaceship going 200,000 mph through space and hitting a meteor. What would happen?

Yeah, this thing is ungodly weird, scarier than any alien...

theres a bunch of documented, incredibly bizzare murals & design cues throughout that place that make absolutely no sense as an art theme for an airport... these things go beyond mere oversight in choosing an interior designer... IMO.
