The 'I've just gotten back from getting stoned' and this is what I've eaten, Thread.

Okay, so there are a ton of guys in here that are getting stoned, trying to work on their buzz, or 'thinking' about working on it.

So, I figured I would start a thread. I am all about making myself accountable. The more people that I tell about bong-tokes, the more people I will chill the **** out.

If you get high.... then post here when you get back. If you do Hash, post here when you get done. If you smoke opium.... post it here.

Anything you do to get high.... share with the board. I know I have gotten some great advice and feedback.

Also, post what you eat. If you post everything you eat, and you know others will be critical, you may think twice before you grab something actually healthy.

Okay, so, tonight i'm going to try to combine some purp w/ some keef.

Then, I'll do three quick hits. I did hold them in long enough. Three tokes each. I did cough a little, cotton-mouth etc. but, all is well.


As far as my diet.

anydamned thing I want.

I didn't have a 'lunch' per se.

Kids had sloppy joes with lean beef (as if that makes it great).... I took a baked potato, and put a serving of sloppy joe over it, with jalapenos and 2 oz's of lowfat cheddar cheese. But I got high and just munched on the others food.

I have also had shotgun with some hot girl i met at the market, and synthesize with water.

I won't eat again before bed.


Okay, I know putting everything down here will open me up to criticism. I know some will think that I am doing things all wrong. I appreciate any advice, but I have done a lot of reading and talking to stoners.... so, I have an idea of what I am doing.... or at least what I think I am doing.

The point of this thread, isn't to get into pissing matches about how good your weed is, but rather to give ourselves a gold star for holding a toke in beyond thirty seconds.

Try not to beat anyone down on this thread, because this is about burnin' reefer.

I think driving while you're high is a lot different after you've been smoking regularly for years. You become conditioned to it and you just don't get high like you do when you're starting out.

Drunk people say the same shit though, so that's a big reason why I don't trust those instincts and just say to make it illegal with as stiff of penalties as driving while drinking.

Exactly. I can sit here and say that I'm not a bad driver when Im high. But I've been smoking for years. I have my tolerances built up. However, just because I know what I can and can't do while im high doesn't mean everyone else can.

And for the record, I avoid driving high as much as possible. My #1 rule is that I NEVER drive high at night. Too hard to see.

BUT.....one of my favorite pass times is getting a little high, maybe a bowl or two, and driving the scenic SD coast line while the sunsets. Not high enough to get paranoid, just high to really enjoy the ocean breeze and some classic rock. I take the tops of my car and take a 45 minute drive up the coast of SD.

Absolutely gorgeous experience.

Just make sure you are in a comfortable environment (comfortable to you) and don't double dose. Eat 2 grams the first time and have a couple friend eat them too and you will be fine.

I've never had a freestanding hallucination off of shrooms (seeing something that isn't there like a leprechaun). I've had awesome visuals (patterns, textures, melting etc) but no freestanding ones.

I've always enjoyed going for a scenic drive when I'm high. I just don't really do it anymore though. Regardless of how safe I feel I am behind the wheel, and despite my track record which proves it, I don't want to take any chances on my reaction times being slowed to the point that it ruins, or worse yet, ends someone else's life. I'm getting old.....

I've heard that most people experience things like melting, sensations of walking on air, etc. I wonder how common freestanding hallucinations are?

Yea I know. The only people (and we're talking 4 maybe 5) that I've known that have had freestanding hallucinations were people that did an obscene amount of acid or shrooms. Only one of the people had the experience off shrooms, everyone else it was acid. Now, I know plenty of people who have eaten too many shrooms and been completely mind****ed and had a bad trip. So the possibility is there but that's one of the reasons that I emphasizing not double dosing. A lot of bad trip stories start out with "I ate this much and wasn't feeling it so I ate some more and then..."

In my experience, psych's are all about introspection though you can see "pretty colors" and experience some weird shit on LSD.
For shrooms, I would recommend the following just to keep things cool on your first time out:
For the right frame of mind, get yourself some good X. Then, limit your intake to no more than two medium-sized caps because too many shrooms could send you in to a deep funk that will make you beg to come down, and you'll never want to go down that road again.
Also, and this is from experience; do not mix a shitload of shrooms with weed unless you've got a high-powered bottle of booze to level you out.
Just go slow. You're a beginner. Too much too soon is NOT the way to fly.
