What's the one thing they haven't won in the last 30 years?

What's the one way they haven't tried to address the QB position?

You just don't ****ing get it. NOBODY is saying they CAN'T win without a first round QB.

If you look at NFL history, and especially Chiefs history, there's a CLEARLY ESTABLISHED line of probability.

For better or worse, I don't think you can ask that same fan base to endure even more losing seasons in an effort to develop a QB from the weakest draft class in recent memory.

That just wasn't going to fly.
Because filling the stands is more important than winning playoff games.

The bottom line is it's OK to sit here and do whatever the **** you want to do in the offseason. I really don't care. Have a ball with 2-gap slapdicks.

Just draft a goddamn QB in the first round. NO ONE can be SO SURE of a rookie class to completely write off ANY QB in the first round this year. Scouting isn't an exact science.

Do whatever the **** you want to do. Trade for Alex Smith and get raped, I don't care. Just spend the 1.1 on a QB you morons. We don't need a LT.

I get it. You love Geno Smith. Many don't.

Alex Smith, in Reids opinion, will win the Chiefs many more games and give them a larger chance of making the playoffs and thus the SB.

Deal with it or don't - no one cares. But Damn, the whining is just over the top BORING.

Every post from you and Clay is the same thing.

Apocalypse Now. We didn't draft Geno. blah, blah, blah.

You're ****ing clueless.

I also like Tyler Wilson, Matt Barkley, and several other QBs, including a couple in next year's draft.

It's funny how you morons equate wanting to draft a QB, because of an overwhelming desire to see the Chiefs win a Super Bowl, as some kind of mindless lemming behavior.

While you simultaneously applaud moves like trading for Alex Smyth, which will all but GUARANTEE the Chiefs won't win a Super Bowl.

But that's not the goal is it? Gotta bring back the Marty years, fill the parking lots, amirite?

And the great thing is they hedged their shitty Alex Smith bet with Chase Daniel.

I could at least get slightly optimistic, be a little interested, if they had done something AMAZING like drafting a QB in the 2nd (we haven't done that in 20 years, BTW). But they're not even gonna do that.

**** 'em. Win NOW or GTFO.

Not bored at all. I believe in slow steady progress. I have run my professional life on that mantra for years. Sports franchises that do that are much more stable and successful (Cardinals in baseball and Steelers in football, for example). And have done very well, I might add.

DeVito is a fine signing, as is Fasano. I suspect we will have a deep threat before August. Alex Smith will be a good QB. And he will bring us much closer to the SB than G. Smith will ever take anyone.

The Steelers were a boring-ass three-yards and a cloud-of-dust franchise that didn't win SHIT for YEARS until they drafted a first-round QB.

Comparing the Chiefs to the Steelers is laughable. The Chiefs approach is NOTHING like the Steelers. NOTHING.

Enjoy mediocrity moron. Slow steady progress.

Do you think that it's a little strange that you wrote that in the past tense?

We're NOT drafting a QB high this year.
