He's most certainly not a sure fire HOFer.

If we win this SB then he's at 5 SB, but he only has 2 1st Team All-Pros, 2 2nd Team All-Pros, 4 Pro Bowls. Being a LT during a SB run should probably push him over the top, but he's not a guarantee HOF and I don't think SB championships have as much weight for a guard as they do for one of the more important positions.

Just look at Will Shields resume. He doesn't have the SBs, but he was on the 2000s all decade team, 2x 1st Team All-Pro, 4x 2nd Team All-Pro, and 12 straight Pro Bowl selections.

There are a few guys with 3 1st Team All-Pros that aren't in the HOF.

It's hard for guards to get in the HOF. There are only 16 in the entire HOF.
