Best team in Chiefs history?
Simple Rating System (SRS) is a calculation determining how good a team is, using (1) margin of victory and (2) strength of schedule. A margin of 5/game with an SOS of -0.5 results in an SRS of 4.5.
The Chiefs right now hold the #1 SRS and it's not even close: 12.3, Rams 9.5, Saints 8.3, Pitt 7.5. Chiefs have finished with the #1 SRS in their Leafue only ONE TIME in 59 years. When was it? (Note: 1969-1969 we had 10 AFL teams, 1970-1995 about 26 post merger, and 1995-on 32 teams) |
