Blake Bell's bloodline Chiefs connection.
How did I never know that Blake Bell is the nephew of Mike Bell, our #2 overall pick in the first round of the 1979 draft. Mike played for us until 1991, other than taking a year off in 1986 for, you know, the incident.
And Blake is the son of Mike's twin Mark, so he's basically got the same DNA as Mike if Mike had pulled the ol' switcheroo on Mark's wife. Mark played for the Seahawks and Colts from 1979 through 1994, and was out of the league when the, ummm, incident occurred. Did you all know this? If so, why didn't you tell me?
