Our offense has DIED. Our offensive line is not opening holes for Priest or affording Green decent protection. They're getting shoved around. That hasn't happened for a long time. Our wide receivers are questionable AT BEST - Boe's gone, Morton sucks, Kennison's hurt, Dante's a midget, Smith was ineffective and cut, Parker's hurt, and Horn is little more than a rookie. We have no deep threat. Stack the line, double Gonzo, and suddenly, we look like shit. I don't know exact numbers, but I'm willing to bet we've had more stalled drives in the first three games of 2004 than we did in the first half of the season last year. The defense looked like crap against Denver, but little by little, every day removed from Knobinson, it's getting a bit better. But they still have talent issues and simply can't compensate for the offense falling on its ass. And special teams - what's special? Coverage sucks ass, I think playing regularly on offense is already taking a toll on Hall. Overall, I'd say the defense is probably doing more to help us than either other unit. AND THAT'S fuckING SAD. ![]() |
