Position Coaches - luck, chemistry, or what?
In Kansas City people couldn't wait to get rid of Peter Giunta as secondary coach. He ends up on the Giants and coaches up 3rd and 4th stringers and gets a Super Bowl ring.
Gunther did great with the linebackers in Tennessee but seems to have lost it with the LB's in Kansas City. The Chiefs have two firsts, a second and third round pick invested on the DL but fan favorite Krumrie doesn't really have them clicking. They can't generate any pass rush whatsoever. Do fans focus too much on positional coaches? Is it really just a matter of talent? |
