Cassel will be 28 when the season starts. Clausen will be 22. It wouldn't be that crazy to groom Clausen for 2 years and then look to move a 30 year old Cassel.
What's the down side? If Cassel sucks, you've got a plan. If Cassel plays well, you've got all kinds of trade options. I'm not pulling for this to happen, but I wouldn't be upset if it did.
