I was talking with an associate today at home depot who was just finishing up moving a ton of new appliances to the floor. We talked about how much work it was to move them all and how many there were for the new appliance initiative. He told me that they were supposed to be taken to a storage trailer but that the trailers weren't there yet so a manager told him to put them all on the sales floor. Just as the last appliance had been brought out from receiving.....guess what? The trailers showed up......guess what? All the appliances that had just been moved got moved again.

So?

Why don't people realize they get paid to do what they are told? I don't care if I tell you to dig a hole and then fill it in, I'm the one writing the checks, when you start then you can bitch.
